Greg and Jill were one of the five families who started the mission in Jinja. During their seven years in Uganda, they primarily worked in the villages of Busoga, planting and nurturing churches. In 2001, The Taylors moved to Nashville, Tennessee where Greg became managing editor for Wineskins, a spiritual and cultural journal published by the Zoe Group. In 2005, the Taylors moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma to work with the Garnett Road Church. Jill and Greg are also quite busy raising their three children: Ashley, 12, Anna, 9, and Jacob, 6.
Greg holds an M.Div. from Harding Graduate School of Religion in Memphis. Greg has recently published a novel, High Places, that grew out of his experiences in Uganda. He is also co-author of Down in the River to Pray: Revisioning Baptism as God's Transforming Work (Leafwood, 2004).
