Health Ministry has been an integral part of the Jinja Mission Teams Outreach. Marnie Moore, who is a registered nurse, and later Dr. Mark Hall initiated and helped to bring a physical ministry of healthcare to the people of Busoga. The Health Ministry included treatment but primarily focused on health education as a preventative means of providing heath care. These ministries did not include an establishment of a permanent clinic but were carried out in informal settings on location. Presently, Emily Bogle who is a registered nurse serves as a healthcare resource in select capacities in Busoga, while occasionally joining Dr. Ellen Little of the Kampala Mission in regional and country wide opportunities. Emily, Kym Langford, and Lori Manry also regularly visit women in villages througout Busoga to teach women about healthy living.
